Another Kona Reef Sunset
Our new Kona Reef Manager is Paul Jordon. He started Aug 1st.
The Kona Reef BOD has received a response from Alan Mattson on 1/26 and he
has agreed to pay back $2,277.75. However there are still issues of payments
due to the AOAO.

House Rules:
The latest version of the Kona Reef House Rules can now be found at the
bottom of this website. You can click on the link and print your own copy
to be posted in your condo. For those owners in the Castle rental pool,
a copy is being placed in your condo for you by Claire.
Here is the phone number for our Security Guards who patrol our
complex at night, 808 217-1392. Call the number in case of an emergency.
Parking stickers:
New parking stickers are now being issued
for full time residents, and for owners with a vehicle in
storage. If you already have a vehicle in storage, the sticker
will be exchanged when you return the old sticker and present current
registration showing registration to a Kona Reef owner and
verification that a set of keys is with the office.
There is presently a waiting list for parking storage. Residents
may get a sticker by returning their old one, and presenting current
vehicle registration. We will not issue stickers to vehicles that are not
registered to an owner at the Kona Reef.
There is no longer any feeding of birds allowed at the Kona Reef.
Some of the newest products on the market for lubrication in the salt air
are Inox and T-9 Boeshield. Both are excellent and can be found at the
marina.
If you have extra plates and silverware available for guests, it will
reduce the amount of time the dishwasher runs, saving you on electric
bills and saving water usage. If there are only 4 or 5 plates, the guests
will run the dishwasher twice a day. If there are 8-10 plates, they will
do the dishes every other day instead. A few extra dishes can save you a
lot of electricity, and it is far more convenient for guests.
Recommended by the Dura-deck company: Clean your lanai Dura-deck by using
Palmolive dish soap & water.
Also, clean those ugly black spots with rubbing alcohol. A sure cure
from owner Stan Hagedorn.
